Less than a year ago, Elena Ji introduced me to Tatiana Berdo.

Elena is part of our Pinnacle community, and she’ll be with us at Prom. That introduction has become something I’m deeply grateful for.

Today, Tatiana is our exclusive photographer for The Pinnacle Dinner™ and our events. She’s part of our team. And saying that makes me a little teary.

I’ve introduced her to 4 separate enterprise opportunities. We’ve brought her work to new companies and audiences in Charlotte, Raleigh, and beyond. People have seen her photographs from our events and hired her on the spot.

That’s market making in real life. Recognizing someone’s talent, paying for their work, and continuing to introduce them where that talent can be seen and hired.

We’ve given Tatiana full artistic and creative freedom. You can see it in the expressions, the little exchanges, and the moments you were too busy enjoying to photograph yourself.

She gives far more than she takes from this community. Her generosity, creativity, and care show up every time she walks into one of our rooms.

A celebrated baker, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, Manolo has built a Charlotte business known for its beautiful creations and its commitment to community.

Named the 2021 World Bread Hero USA, Manolo has received national recognition for his baking and international attention for his humanitarian work. His story is the subject of the award-winning documentary The Changebaker.

And through the years, he’s continued to show up for the people and communities around him, including ours.
